Rubbish Game

On the right you will find a PowerPoint presentation that can be used in a classroom for the rubbish game activity.

To use this PowerPoint presentation click on the link on the right and then download to show in PowerPoint. Alternatively you can just view it on the link and scroll down to change slides.

Below the PowerPoint presentation, a preparation guide is also provided for educators on how to set up the activity before undertaking the lesson.

Medieval Borders

Monastic Literacy

For further information about Medieval Abbey Life, Historic Scotland have a handling box which is available for use during visits at Melrose Abbey (and a few other further afield sites) by booking directly with the Abbey. However, the accompanying PDF that explains whats in the handling box has some great information on Medieval Abbey Life which can be accessed for free on the web by clicking the image on the left.
